Photopolymer etching one day workshop, suitable for absolute beginners & experienced printmakers.
We’ll meet in the kitchen for coffee, go upstairs to make plates in the morning in my studio, break for lunch (bring a packed lunch) & move downstairs to the print room to start printing in the afternoon.
Please bring an apron; it can get messy!
You'll also need a black and white transparency which can be a drawing or a photo. It should be the same size as the print you want to make, we lay the transparency onto a light-sensitive plate, expose it to UV light, wash the plate in warm water & the image appears. I'll send detailed instructions after booking.
There’s space for 5 students in each workshop.
Ink & sundries are included in the price, however, plates & paper are an additional cost.
Smaller plates suitable for beginners A5 £8.56 or A4 £15.14
Larger plates A3 £27.00, A2 £54.00
Paper is £5 per sheet, 56x76 cm, £2.50 for a half and £1.25 for a quarter sheet.
