10.30-4pm February 22nd 2025 Photopolymer Etching Workshop

These friendly one-day workshops are suitable for absolute beginners through to experienced printmakers who’d like to learn a new technique.

Meet for coffee, go upstairs to make plates in the morning in her studio, break for lunch (please bring a packed lunch) & then move downstairs to the print room to start printing in the afternoon. Bring an apron or overalls, it can get messy!

You'll also need to bring a greyscale (Black and white) transparency. It must be the same size as the finished print you require and can be drawn by hand, photocopied or digitally printed. Paula will send detailed instructions after booking.

Maximum of 5 people in each workshop.

Some materials are included printing plates & paper are sold at cost:

• Smaller plates suitable for beginners A5 £8.56 or A4 £14.14
• Larger plates suitable for printmakers with experience of intaglio printmaking A3 £24.00, A2 £48.00

Each workshop costs £70 per person and there’s space for 5 students in each workshop.
